Review of Bedknobs and Broomsticks (1971) by Jo J — 22 Jan 2009

Not entirely sure how I managed to have never seen this one considering the Disney fan I am!? Very good, not as good as Mary Poppins but enjoyable none-the-less.

I have (it appears) the 25th anniversary version which adds 30minutes to the original edit of the film. I'll be honest with you, I think I'd have enjoyed the edited version more, several scenes did drag on a little and ruined the pace of the film, if these were the shortened scenes I know it would be a big improvement.

So watch, but watch the shortest version you can find!
