Review of Bedazzled (2000) by Edgar C — 19 May 2010
Ramis' decadence in intellectual comedy? Hold on a minute... Ramis?? With a casually awful Brendan Fraser?! Oh my. What does Hollywood posses that it makes some of the strongest directors to fall? Money? Stardom? And here we are, watching what is barely a remake of the original sexualized Brittish satire with lame jokes and... ¡Fraser hablando español!
And of course, they hardly tried to make up for the film's obvious lacking areas with the Christian speech of a black prisoner. Right... Thought-provoking, of course.... Ha! My vote is:
45/100.
P.D. I'd screw that version of the devil.
