Review of Bedazzled (2000) by Pete G — 14 May 2012
The script throughout the middle has almost no actual meaning, the reason the lead character keeps his soul at the end is dumb and underthought and the little effects used are cubic and foolish. But Brendan Fraiser acts charmingly enough for me to laugh at each of these set pieces, and I did enjoy the concept of the 7 wishes and the selling of the soul.
Not perfect at all, but a nice watch on the sofa.
