Review of Becoming Jane (2007) by Claire L — 02 Mar 2009
Oh this movie made me fall in love with James McAvoy. The look that he gives Jane when he kind of appears during one of the dance scenes just melted me. Anne Hathaway played a convincing Jane Austen and I really enjoyed how she portrayed her.
But the story overall is somewhat sad because it shows that even though Jane could write about finding and being in love, she never found it on her own.
