Review of Becoming Jane (2007) by Anna F — 10 Aug 2009
I'm not sure exactly why but this movie didn't suck me in; it was very 'period piece'y and anne hathaway & james mcavoy were okay, but the humour and interestingness/depth of character of some jane austen novel-based films (the BBC & keira knightley versions of 'pride & prejudice;' 'sense & sensibility' and even 'emma') were MIA, imo.
