As an Austen-lover, I can say that the movie didn't do the real Jane justice. However, as a beautiful story that constantly hints back to different Austen novels and quotes, it was amazing. The cast is brilliantly talented, and I can not get enough of Jane and Tom's chemistry.
Whether he was truly the model for Darcy, who knows? But I love this for what it is... a whimsical jaunt through Austen-land.
