I loved this film. it was incredibly well acted by a suburb cast, the production and costume design is as exquisite as a Merchant/Ivory film and the story is terrifically engaging. It's incredibly romantic and bittersweet.

I felt deep sadness for their loss. Why it only has a 57% from the critics, I can not understand. But the viewers gave it 74%. I give it 100%. See it if you like costume, sets, period, romance, sad stories and any of the actors in this film.
