Review of Becket (1964) by Vig S — 19 Jun 2008
Peter O'Toole's as delightfully melodramatic as ever he was in his older films, which actually works really well for his role as King Henry II. Burton ad Gielgud are pretty damn good, it goes without saying.
And though the majority of the story is quite frankly drivel, it redeems itself by having stellar performances and a defiant style.
