Annasophia Robb (plays Opal) is brilliant in this movie. She's the next 'young' Dakota Fanning. Great charm, wit, and sincerity of character, and it's her first movie. A good 'feel good' family movie about dealing with sadness and depression, and even alcoholism.
Jeff Daniels plays a good mediocre preacher / dad. Dave Matthews is nice to hear as well. Worth a buying consideration if you have little kids.
