Review of Because I Said So (2007) by Jamesa — 01 Feb 2007
Saw an early viewing of this movie since my girlfriend begged me to bring her.... I've never had suicidal thoughts, but I knew if I walked out of this movie, I would never hear the end of it... However, if I died, I would no longer have to watch the movie, and best of all: no fighting.
Honestly, this movie is "Something's Gotta Give", but worse. Horrible character development, over-the-top bad acting, horrendous writing... I really could beat this dead horse for a page or so, but you get the idea.
Bottom line: If your girlfriend wants to see this movie, persuade her to wait for the DVD and take her to see "Dreamgirls", "The Queen", "Pan's Labyrinth", or something that is worth your 10 bucks.
Thankfully, my only loss is time.
