In some ways, it could be argued that B&B were Mike Judge's Idiocracy before Idiocracy. Same basic idea and same basic concept. This movie, which could have tested the tolerance towards these idiotic characters, is actually pretty good with an involving story and decent humor to keep it from getting bogged down.
It coud be argued that it starts to drag near the half-way point, but this is how most of Mike Judge's films are.
