Review of Beavis and Butt-Head Do America (1996) by Bart R — 28 Apr 2012
Mike Judge's popular cartoon about two teenage idiots gets a surprisingly effective celluloid treatment. The plot surrounds Beavis and Butthead going on a road trip when they are mistaken for hitmen.
They're under the impression that they're finally going to lose their virginity, and their confusion leads to a large number of comedic snafus. Beavis and Butthead Do America knows that it's a dumb comedy and it revels in being shamelessly crass, proudly blue-humored, and compulsively watchable.
Fans of the television show will find this movie to be a worthy extension of the franchise.
