Review of Beauty and the Beast (2017) by Violet Y — 30 Oct 2017
The Beauty and the Beast live-action remake seemed to be in the difficult position of being at once too similar to the animated version and not similar enough. All I kept thinking was "I'd much rather be watching that other one".
Unfortunately the film could have benefited from dubbing a couple of its actors, especially in the case of its lead.
