Review of Beauty and the Beast (2017) by Deanna F — 05 Jul 2017

The CGI was too dark, and Belle looked like she was scowling in 90% of the movie. The somber feel doesn't mesh with the musical numbers.

There also needed to be more of a time lapse show between Belle and the Beast's affection. It just felt forced. Gaston and La Foue were great, but everyone else just faded into the dirt and grime. I got bored, and the singing wasn't great enough to make up for that.
