"THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY EVER TOLD".

- One of my personal favorite Disney animation movies is this 1991 'Beauty and the Beast', based upon the French fairytale Jeanne-Marie Le Prince de Beaumont. It tells the love story of a prince, who is magically transformed into a monster, and a young woman, Belle, who gets imprisoned in his castle. A wonderful storyline, many likeable characters and an amazing soundtrack, make this animation film a true must-see classic. With Angela Lansbury (Murder, She Wrote) as the voice of Mrs. Potts. Perfect to relive your childhood on a rainy Sunday afternoon!

Once upon a time, there was a arrogant prince, who refused to help an old beggar, because of her looks. The old lady transforms into a fairy and puts a curse on the prince and everyone in his castle. To break it, he must learn the meaning of true love. Years go by, and the castle gets forgotten...

When inventor Maurice leaves his home and daughter Belle to attend a fair with his latest invention, he soon gets lost in the wood. After being chased by a pack of wolves, he takes refuge in a dark castle. He is surprised to see that some of the furniture is alive. But then he meets the owner of the castle: a horrible beast that locks him in the dungeon.

At home, Belle is trying to keep Gaston, the muscular hunter who wants her as his wife, away. When her father's horse shows up, Belle knows that he is in trouble and goes to look for him. She arrives at the castle where she offers the Beast to take her father's place. Agreeing, the Beast hopes he can break the curse. But will the beautiful girl fall in love with the monstrous beast?
