Review of Beautiful Thing (1996) by Geo C — 23 Aug 2007
I saw the stage version at the Edinburgh Festival quite a few years ago. The film is a brilliant adaptation of a wonderful story. Some painfully funny - but poignant - dialogue between the two lads, and the mother was fantastic.
Plus her gormless 'New Labour' boyfriend - what a laugh!
