Return of long-gone son to family farm as catalyst for angry family to finally deal with untimely death of other family member (or in this case, memberS) years earlier - it seems well-worn, but this is good.
Despite some jarringly cliched lines and not many surprises, the performances are excellent; they hold your gaze.
