Review of Beautiful Girls (1996) by Nelia S — 03 Sep 2007
Magnificent film. The best charting of returning to a small town to realise how much you've changed, without outgrowing or loving what you grew up with. The perfect example of what it's like to be approaching proper adulthood, all the confusions contained in that state, and the reluctance to let go of kidulthood.
