Review of Beautiful Girls (1996) by Alden T — 15 Aug 2007
Who knew that when I rented this movie (admittedly I picked up the box at the rental store because it had Uma Thurman and Mira Sorvino on it) that it would become one of my all time favorites. This film will most likely hit home the best with the thirty-something crowd.
The synopsis on this page is very accurate. The interaction between Marty (Natalie Portman) and Willy (Timothy Hutton) was incredible. Portman stole every scene that she was in. The rest of the cast also did an outstanding job.
Matt Dillon was great, as was Michael Rapaport. Highly recommended!
