Review of Beautiful Girls (1996) by Katie C — 25 Aug 2010
Upon watching this movie for the first time, I liked it. But I was 15 years old and didn't quite understand that. Now that I'm 30, I got the movie from start to finish. My friends in particular, might be a little weirded out by some of the aspects of the film.
Story follows a small time piano player (Hutton) living in Manhattan, who returns home for his 10 year high school reunion and hangs with his best friends. Movie is more about experiencing heartbreak, the fear of commitment, career fears and Neil Diamond.
Overall, a fairly good movie but not one girls will like and not a movie mainstream moviegoers will like. But my friends, may like it.
