Review of Beautiful Creatures (2013) by David D — 18 Jan 2014
An enjoyable fantasy film based on a popular YA novel. I've never read or even heard of the series of books but like the best of YA literature and films this story is solid entertainment for all ages.
The story is interesting (with some very amusing elements), the acting is solid, and the production values impressive without being overwhelming. I wouldn't say I loved it but it was an enjoyable film to watch.
