Read the book first, and the book was sooo much better than the movie. The movie was out of order, important characters were left out, some events were completely fabricated, and other pivotal events were omitted.
I do not see how they can bring out Beautiful Darkness (book 2) as a movie with how Creatures ended. Emma Thompson and Jeremy Irons were perfect as Macon Ravenwood and Mrs. Lincoln/Seraphine. Viola Davis fit the description of Marian Ashcroft more easily than she did the description of Amma.
