After reading the book, which I enjoyed, I was disappointed in the sequence of the film how parts were skipped and the ending was so different. I would like to ask the director did she really read the book or only skim through the parts that may have been interesting.

How lena & ethan met seems slapped together & they became close & fell for each other with very little interaction it didnt convince me. The special effects sucked & I hope that if there is a continuance that someone else takes over to do it justice.

It could hsve been much better yhe twilight with different director & if only they followed the plot of the story which included parts about ethans family & Marion.
