Review of Beautiful Creatures (2013) by Karina K — 23 Feb 2014

I was really looking forward to seeing this film, becauseI had read the book. It was a good film. However, there were some major disappointments. I hated the fact that they completely skipped the dance! That should have been one of the highlights of the film. I did not like the fact that two book characters were merged into one in this film! I did not really like the actress playing Lena. Somehow, she was no Lena to me. And I did not like the fact that they were rushing the story, so there could not be a sequel.

I still give the film 3 stars, because I was entertained. Some scenes were breathtaking and Alden Ehrenreich was pretty decent as Ethan.
