As these supernatural-romance-for-teen-girls movies go, this one is hard to really dislike. It's got an engaging cast who do a fine job with the really slight material. But ultimately, it's tough to really like it either.
It's watered down fantasy material for people who are loooking for a romantic coming of age story that doesbn't challenge the viewer ... at all.
