This film has many co-stars I love--Emma Thompson, Jeremy Irons, Eileen Atkins--and even starts with some witty lines and interesting situations. However, after the first 30 minutes it just fizzles. The plot just doesn't grab your interest, the dialogue falls flat and the characters turn cardboard.
Beautiful Creatures is a dud and I wonder why 55% of the audience liked it.
