Review of Beautiful Creatures (2013) by Cecily B — 30 Jul 2014

I never had the chance to read the book so my rating has nothing to do with the likeness or comparison to the novel.

I thought the movie was interesting, I had just watched the Carrie remake shortly before this which was really cheesy with the power stuff so I feel like it tainted this movie for me a little bit. I think the love story was really awesome and well done the actors had a good connection. It was also nice to see the like "geekier" couple's relationship instead of the two hottest people. It was a nice change.

I am all for movies with magic if its done well and this was about sub par. Some was well done and some was cheesy. But as mentioned above I have seen worse.
