PSYCOLOGICAL DRAMA.
Okay, in order to watch this film you first have to consider it's stars Mario Bello and Michael Sheen because they're exceptional in this film. The second thing one has to consider is it's subject matter which is not excusing anything that happened. The title "Beautiful Boy" was a description of what two average parents used to have as opposed to what happened later for they become victims themselves without realizing it. This is a film that is necessary to anyone who still have their children and may have to begin to break away from their parents because it somehow prepares you for the worst that can happened. And it can affect a persons job, how other people may see you and etc... which no parent won't want any other parent to go through.
