I studied Israeli Cinema in college and this was by far the best Israeli film I've seen. It was certainly the best foreign film I saw of 2007. It was beautifully shot and well told in the dynamic clastraphobia that develops from living so constricted.
Beaufort was one of the most genuine war films ever made.
