Review of Beaufort (2007) by Chady H — 14 Apr 2008
The only thing the film has going for it is the cinematography and the lighting. Its sluggish pace probably wouldn't be so atrocious if the dialogue weren't so trite. The story is like heart-beat scanner for a dead patient -- utterly flat.
Its only saving grace perhaps is the appearance by the brilliant Israeli journalist Gideon Levy, but you can always see him elsewhere. I wouldn't advise anyone to waste time or money on this.
