Actor Michael Rappaport moves into directing with this documentary about the turbulent history of iconic 90s Hip-Hop group A Tribe Called Quest. The fly on the wall camera work and simplistic structure is amateur-like when compared to other contemporary docos, however the subject matter is fascinating, the footage is rare and exciting and the music is mint.
Highly Recommended for Hip-Hop fans.
