Review of Beatriz at Dinner (2017) by Francisco Q — 13 Oct 2017
"Beatriz at Dinner" is one of the most pleasant movies of the year and also a very personal and introspective movie. However, it fails too much at the end, the final act resolution is dissappointing and some script and storyboard decisions were a little bit poor.
Despite that, this movie is a very good ride at the serene yet important dinner conversations about our time, about our behavior. This movie is also elevated by one of the best performances of Salma Hayek's career, she's a wonderful, lovely and sweet woman.
