I thought this was poorly written and I am so surprised that Salma would not have insisted that her character be developed in a different way. This is implausible with a sophisticated and wealthy family would allow someone dressed like she did, acting the way she did (even if she had helped your child) join a dinner party to celebrate a business not involving her at all.

Your OWN kids would not have been invited to this kind of get together. Not a total waste of time if you are with a friend and doing something to talk about. We both felt the same way. Save your money.

I thought the "timely" was just contrived and not very well done either.
