A curious film, rather unusual in fact, Beasts of the Southern Wild is a marvelous and beautiful movie which deals with values, humanity and everything else in a quite metaphoric way and from the perspective of a child; Quvenzhane Wallis stars as the bold, curious, sweet and mature Hushpuppy, the heroine of the movie and Dwight Henry as her loving, angry, frustrated, sick and drinking father.
Masterful, inspiring and emotional, this movie is one of the bests of the year.
