Excellent production value and acting all around. Especially from newcomer Quvenzhane Wallis who plays the protagonist Hushpuppy. The story left me confused and lost as it was hard to follow what exactly it was about.
very ambiguous. Although maybe deserving of it's best picture nom, I don't think it deserves a win.
