Review of Beasts of the Southern Wild (2012) by Krista G — 02 Mar 2013
While you may not be able to relate to the characters living in the Bathtub, the real thrill of this movie is seeing the world through the eyes of the main character. From the point of view of a child, the poor bayou community is full of wonder and magic, despite the dangers they face living in a flood zone.
This film reminds you of that sense of innocence and acceptance that we all lost when we grew up.
