Review of Beasts of the Southern Wild (2012) by Neil H — 13 Jul 2013
This film's trailer was soley made to appeal to the sci fi fantasy fans but to a major dissapointment when the beautifly designed ficticious primal boars were simply used as metaphorical mcguffins.
The story does not keep the film standing. Not only is it a modern day deep south slum in the guise of a Hunger Games dystopian future but it ends FOUR TIMES! Even though The Return of the King ended five times at least it was to wrap up the stories of characters I was actually invested in.
