Just a phenomenal piece of film making. Beats of the Southern Wild encapsulates the heart and soul of the south beautifully. The vision and imagination on display is nothing short of genius. "Once there was a Hushpuppy and she lived with her daddy in the bathtub", and I will be eternally grateful for that.
