Review of Beasts of the Southern Wild (2012) by Aamir A — 24 Oct 2013
This movie was nice because of all the small themes in it. Plot-wise, it was a bit slow, and nothing really 'happened'. But, the way it was carried out, the small ideas and the themes about life really gave this movie a sort of melancholy, but sentimental feel.
Basically, it was one of those movies - Though it had its share of action, the reason this movie was so good was because of its philosophical and thematic significance.
