Terrible story, terrible movie. We follow the young hero girl and the movie is thinking like her. It went for a while until I found it an irrational world trying to adapt reality to its fantasy. It makes a bad case for (little) children as rulers of the world, that is for sure.
It's too much the romantic/fantasy vs reality. It hurts both my romantic side and my realistic side to see them at odds like this. Some scenes gives me the creeps when the poor people seems to be delusional fools.
Very cute and willful little girl though. Very adoptable!
