Review of Beasts of the Southern Wild (2012) by Sage H — 30 Aug 2013
According to my lady - who I watched this with - who happens to be from that part of the world - this movie is extremely accurate with regards to bayou living. This little girl's performance is impossible to believe - it is that good and she was totally worthy of her Oscar nomination.
I never figured out if the cook was her Momma though - whoops! I guess I shouldn't have given out the spoiler.
