Saw this on 4/2/16.
The fucking racist Academy may have succeeded in making sure that this gets no nomination at all, but Beasts will not be forgotten too easily. It is packed with some good acting and fantastic cinematography even if it's completely plagiarized. Idris Elba is good, but I believe that Abraham Attah deserved an Oscar nomination at least, I mean what a mature performance. It's shameful to see that the child actor from Room got a nomination while this talent was denied the same, may be because he was black.
