Beauty and the Beast reworked for a "modern" audience. The acting is pretty good, and Vanessa Hudgens has a wholesome innocence that works well here. The movie doesn't take many chances or risks.
It is the story you'd expect, making it only nominally enjoyable since you know the outcome.
