For what it's worth, I enjoyed this retelling of this classic fairy-tale. All though I can see why others have a problem liking it. The romance is highly unlikely and very unbelievable. With that said all the characters are very likable and quite interesting.
All be it 'interesting' in that after school special kind of way. This movie is more than worth taking a chance on. Even if it's just to hear NPH's witty blind quips.
