I know movie trailers can be far better than the movies themselves. For whatever reason, I really wanted to see this based on the lone trailer I saw before another movie. The netflix rating should have been fair warning, but often the masses were wrong. The only way they were wrong on this movie...the might have rated it a bit too high.

It really strives to be hip with lots of texting and text jargon. The main character is just digusting so who cares what he has to go through. They absolutely failed to make him in any way human and worth giving a shit about. Hudgens is a shallow character. People think Taylor Swift can't act? This chick can't act. At least in this movie. I understand the Olsen's are like billionaires after launching some clothing line...so stay out of lame movies lest you make them more lame. And Harris has been good. Even he was lame in this.

I used to watch Beauty and the Beast (the miniseries) as a kid. The cat-looking guy and the woman named Catherine was not bad at the time. This is just bad all and. Bad characters, bad acting, bad dialogue...all in an attempt to cater to a young, dumb crowd. Maybe I should have qualified for wanting to see this so badly.
