Review of Beastly (2011) by Lauren V — 21 Jul 2011
A weird take on the story of "Beauty and the Beast". Vanessa Hudgens has one smiley reaction to everything and Alex Pettyfer needs to work on a big screen presence, I think he could be a little more suited for theatre.
Mary-Kate Olsen tried way to hard to be creepy and dark, I liked her part in the movie the best, but I'm not sure if she liked it at all. Neil Patrick Harris stole the movie, in all of his 10 minutes on screen.
Don't expect an awesome remake of the beloved Disney classic, expect a corny fairy tale imitation.
