Review of Bean (1997) by Corey N — 06 May 2010
I really enjoy watching the Mr.Bean television series from the UK. But this movie misses the mark. They tried to make this more catered to a American audience with the story and humour. Some scenes like the turkey on Mr.
Bean head is taken right from his Christmas special. Rowan Atkinson is still great as Mr.Bean. He made me laugh at times in this. But even he could not save the film. And the overall story and humour did not come off that well.
They should not have left the humour more like the television show. It would have been that much better.
