Review of Bean (1997) by Phil P — 23 Sep 2012
"Jennifer...Jennifer...wakey wakey...breakfast's ready!... Jennifer...".
The beloved mostly silent Mr.Bean graces onto the big screen with fairly decent result. I only recently watched the thing on tv - there was nothing else on so...
AS expected its like along episode of Mr. Bean to a certain extent. It comes with all the usual slapstick stuff, that's fairly well done and it's probably the films savior. The comedy timing with Bean that Rowan Atkinson possesses is what makes the film worth watching.
The plot may be predictable and pretty boring but the comedy and nature of Mr.Bean is what saves the film from being just bland through and through. If you're not fond of slapstick this'll be a complete waste of time for you - everyone else give it a try you never know.
