Review of Be Cool (2005) by Gerhard N — 09 Jun 2009
At the start of this film they make a point about sequels rarely been as good as the first. Self fulfilling prophecy. Starts off OK, gets worse and the alst hour is just like a gigantic celebrity car crash of schmaltz.
What they have done here is though they could get away with having a weak plot by just packing it with so many celebrities from so many different genres and films that audiences would be impressed just to see there favourite.
It doesn't work. A comedy is in dire trouble when the biggest joke becomes the film itself. Also Christina Milian as a potential superstar (in the film, not in real life), she wishes, this film must have been the kiss of death for her as can' think of anything she has done in the charts or in film since.
