Some lift from the ensemble cast and the reunited chemistry of Travolta and Thurman can't really disguise the fact that this film is a little too similar to the first (in plot, use of stereotypes and themes), overly long and the music isn't all that great.
With tighter direction and script, this might have gone somewhere.
